History
Pakistan’s first helpline which was established in 2001, provides crisis intervention, legal aid, counseling referral, rehabilitation and reintegration services to children and women victims of sexual and physical abuse, trafficking, kidnapping, domestic violence, missing children, honor killing, custodial abuse of children and women. Since inception the helpline has received 35644 crisis calls and 1349 cases. 65% of received cases and calls have been resolved successfully and 40% cases are ongoing. Madadgaar receives funds from Swiss Development Corporation (SDC) through UNICEF.
